Connecting with Nature

One of our WIN Ways that our employees got to put into action while volunteering at Beaver Creek Reserve, using VTO (Volunteer Time Off), was “be willing to sweep the floors.”

A group of WIN volunteers spent the afternoon maintaining over 9 miles of the Reserves trails by picking up trash, cutting small trees and branches while working to keep the trails clean. Their efforts to make the trail more accessible ensure that visitors can enjoy their time at Beaver Creek Reserve without impediments.

One WIN employee, Haley, touched on how great it was to spend the afternoon out in nature. Not only did WIN make an impact in the community, but our employees were able to enjoy walking some beautiful trails.
