On Valentine’s Day this year, members of the WIN team helped repackage one massive box of cheerios into smaller portions to give to families in need during Feed My People’s FEED the Love campaign.
FEED the Love is a Pack-a-Thon event where volunteers help to package food for Feed My People’s youth hunger initiative. After packing food, the WIN team toured the food distribution center where nationally and regionally donated food from manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers and growers are delivered before being distributed to 252 hunger-relief programs throughout West Central Wisconsin.
From Weekend Kids’ Meals Backpack Program to Pop-Up Pantries and Crisis Outreach, Feed My People Food Bank has served as a leader in hunger-relief efforts across West Central Wisconsin for 40 years.
