This resulted in unsatisfactory customer experiences and loss of sales due to downtime from the unstable network; impacts to worker productivity due to interruption of connectivity to the data centers; and challenges in managing and monitoring multiple connectivity providers and connection types across company sites. 

After analyzing the situation, our network engineering team identified SD-WAN with a cellular backup as the most efficient solution. SD-WAN provided the client with cost-effective connectivity in difficult to reach areas that could easily be scaled for growth. The cellular backup meant business critical applications would continue to operate during outages.
