Frequently Asked Questions

The high level workflow includes Discovery, Proposal Development-Delivery-Refining, SOW Development-Delivery-Finalization, SOW Acceptance, WIN Internal Kickoff, Client Kickoff, Project Delivery Phases, and Project Acceptance-Closure.

The WIN Internal Kickoff is a critical step where the Project Manager is assigned and steps in to coordinate activities including, assigning other resources to the team, ensuring that procurement actions have started, and communicating with the client about start date.

The Client Kickoff meeting is facilitated by the Project Manager to introduce the project and prepare both your team and ours for success. Throughout the project, regular communications between your team and ours will keep your project on track and within budget. End of project hypercare ensures acceptance criteria have been met and the project is successfully handed off to your organization, or into our Managed IT Services activities.

WIN’s Professional IT Services are designed to stand alone or run alongside Managed IT Services. We’d be delighted to engage with you in either approach. As we partner together in the discovery and proposal phases, we need to be mindful of who is procuring certain licenses, cloud services, etc., since there is an obligation for support to run through whomever does the procurement. We’ll be sure to cover this with you appropriately so there are no surprises.

Yes! In the vast majority of our Professional IT Services engagements, our clients also enjoy better pricing on hardware, licenses, cloud services, etc., than they could obtain on their own. However, if you are able to attain better pricing than WIN, we are also happy to form and deliver the project as labor only.
